Lymphatic Drainage 20 Apr 2016

I have recently completed Level 2 of a Manual Lymphatic Drainage course.  The focus of this course was on the treatment and control of lymphoedema (swelling of the tissues due to blockage or absence of lymph drainage channels). I also learned additional skills such as bandaging, taping and self-massage to enhance the benefits of manual lymphatic drainage. I am hoping to use these skills for preventative care such as reduction of lymphoedema, improved immune system health, detoxification, relaxation and energizing effects.

So if you know of someone that may benefit from this type of treatment please give me a call or text so we can arrange a consultation and treatment.

Manual lymphatic drainage is a gentle, rhythmic, non-invasive technique of specialised massage to encourage lymph flow in the body. Most of the lymph vessels are located just under the skin and therefore this massage is rather soft and delicate but is also very powerful in its actions of moving lymph fluid.
